Mt Rushmore, The Badlands, Custer Battlefield, Cody Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park
Come with us on this wonderful tour into the heart of the American West. Each stop along our way will give us classic views of places that live in our memory. We begin at Mount Rushmore with its powerful image of four American presidents carved into its rock face. While in South Dakota we will also visit the Crazy Horse Monument and the Badlands. Then it’s on through the dramatic landscape of Wyoming. We will visit the battlefield where Custer made his last stand. We will travel to Cody, Wyoming where we will see a wild west rodeo and view the world -renowned Buffalo Bill Museum which is five museums in one. From Cody, we go to Yellowstone National Park and spend two days touring this amazing thermal wonderland of geysers and thermal pools. We will end our tour by spending two nights in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where we will visit beautiful Grand Teton National Park. There we will stay in the historic town of Jackson, and take a memorable raft trip down the Snake River.
This trip includes:
- Round trip bus transportation from Thomaston to the Atlanta Airport.
- Round trip air into Rapid City, South Dakota and out of Jackson, Wyoming
- Accommodations: Rapid City, South Dakota ( 3 nights ), Sheridan, Wyoming ( 2 nights ), Cody, Wyoming ( 2 nights ) and two nights each in Yellowstone and Jackson, Wyoming.
