This trip is an overview of the many wonders of Ireland. I have done my best to link the best of southern Ireland with multi-night stays. We stay in the heart of interesting villages and cities and link these stays with scenic drives in the beautiful Irish countryside. The description below can’t begin to describe the wonderful things we will see on this amazing journey to the “Emerald Isle.”

This trip includes:

Round-trip non-stop air on Delta between Atlanta & Dublin
Round-trip transfers between Thomaston and the Atlanta Airport
All hotels, breakfasts, tours and entrances along the way
Two nights in Dublin in the heart of the city including a tour of the city, a visit to St Patrick’s Cathedral and Trinity College
A day in the beautiful Wicklow countryside where we will visit the Gardens of Powerscourt and the atmospheric monastic site at Glendalough
2 nights in Kilkenny where we will tour Kilkenny Castle
A tour of the dramatic Rock of Cashel
4 nights in Killarney where we will take a boat trip on the Killarney Lakes and then walk in the lovely Gap of Dunloe. We will also visit and tour Muckross House
We will take a day to drive the wonderfully scenic Ring of Kerry
2 nights in Dingle on the Dingle Peninsula including 2 dramatic days driving around the Dingle Peninsula
2 nights in Ennis where we will take a scenic drive to the Cliffs of Moher
Boat tour to beautiful Inis Oirr in the Aran Islands with a stop at the bird rookeries along the Cliffs of Moher
A visit to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park
