          This wonderful trip combines the classic sites and wonderful scenery of Scotland. Words can’t describe the scenic beauty of this trip. The dramatic landscapes, the history, the cliffs, the castles, the islands, the valleys, and the rolling hills of Scotland all combine to make this a wonderful trip on so many different levels.

This trip includes:

  • Round-trip air from Atlanta, Georgia.
  • Round-trip transfers between Thomaston and the Atlanta Airport
  • All transportation, breakfasts, site and museum entrances during your stay in Scotland
  • Two nights near Fort William where our hotel is set beside ”Neptune’s Staircase”, a dramatic set of locks on the Caledonian Canal. From Fort William, we will visit the atmospheric Valley of Glencoe as well as scenic Glenfinnen where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his standard.
  • Three nights on the beautiful Isle of Skye with two days of excursions to take in much of its stunning scenic beauty. We will also visit picturesque and historic Dunvegan Castle.
  • A visit to legendary Loch Ness with the dramatic ruins of Urquart Castle.
  • A visit to Culloden Battlefield where the Scottish troops under Bonnie Prince Charlie suffered a mortal military defeat at the hands of the British.
  • Two nights in Pitlochry where we will visit Blair Atholl with its beautiful castle and grounds.
  • A visit to the beautiful seaside town of St. Andrews with its historic “Old Course” known round the world as the “Home of Golf”
  • Three nights accomodations, including breakfast, in the beautiful city of Edinburgh with walking tours which will include Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace, 
  • The drives between each of the sites above will provide each day with a never-ending display of Scotland’s beautiful hills, valleys, streams, and interesting wayside villages.
