Autumn in Italy! This wonderful Italian sampler gives you two beautiful and distinctively different regions and immerses you in the culture, cuisine and ambience of autumn in Italy. Tuscany gives you an unsurpassed beauty of rolling hills, dramatic landscapes, and picturesque villages. The Tuscan restaurants will be offering interesting menus correlating to their harvest and fall game season. Lake Como gives you the beauty and drama of a pristine alpine lake surrounded by towering peaks situated along the Swiss / Italian border. On Lake Como, we will stay in Bellagio and take boats to villages and villas set around the lake.

- Round-trip air from Atlanta, Georgia
- Round-trip transfers between Thomaston and the Atlanta Airport
- Eight nights hotel accommodations, including taxes and daily breakfast
- All transportation and site entrances along the way
- Four nights in the beautiful Tuscan hilltown of Cortona made famous by Frances
- Mayes in her book, Under the Tuscan Sun.
- The opportunity to take short, easy walks in some of Tuscany’s most beautiful scenery.
- Visit to a Tuscan vineyard where we will have a wine tasting and lunch of Tuscan appetizers.
- We will also take a walk to view Bramasole, the home of Frances Mayes, the author of Under the Tuscan Sun. Entry to the private home is not permitted.
- Day trip to historic Siena to explore its Cathedral as well free time on your own
- Four nights on Lake Como in the wonderful lakeside village of Bellagio
- Walking tour of Bellagio including the grounds of Villa Melzi
- A day excursion on Lake Como with a visit to the picturesque and dramatic Villa Balbianello which was used in the James Bond movie, “Casino Royale.
- A mid-lake cruise on Lake Como and a visit to Villa Carlotta
